In addition to the fantastic line-up for BookFest 2016 and Portsmouth Writers’ Hub, Adele Parks, multi-million bestselling author, will be coming to Portsmouth to discuss the art of writing.
The talk starts at 6.30pm on the 25th February in the Menuhin Theatre inside Central Library. Tickets are £5 concession rate, please book tickets in advance here. If you are a hub member, book your free ticket on the same link, or two tickets (and bring a non-member guest) for £6 for the both of you.
Adele has prepared a talk specifically for all writers here in Portsmouth. Whether you are studying writing, write as a hobby, a vocation or a career, she will give a variety of practical advice on the tools to achieve longevity and success.
Adele is thrilled to be delivering the talk as part of Bookfest 2016. She will also be answering all your specific questions be they nitty gritty on the life of a writer, how to write a bestseller (over and over!) or more general questions such as story structure and working your writing into your life.
The theatre cafe, Lily & Lime Cafe, will be open before the talk, selling warm tea, coffee and cake. Many writers will be there early, from around 5.30pm, catching up and chatting about their latest projects so feel free to get there a little earlier to meet them all. In addition to this, the new CEO of New Writing South, John Prebble, will be joining the talk, he is keen to meet writers and will also be in the cafe early if you have any questions.
We hope to see you there.
