24 April 2017 | 00:00 - 26 April 2017 | 00:00

On Monday 24th April and Wednesday 26th April 2017, Innovolvement return for another session with FashionHack Revolution.
Innovolvement aims to empower transdisciplinary engagement among students and academics of all levels, to cultivate a culture of development, and to make a positive societal impact.

FashionHack is an event aimed to bring those interested in fashion and technology together to collaborate and create innovation designs. You will make stuff around a theme, using whatever tools, technologies or materials. The challenge is to create a piece of fashion, whilst incorporating an element of technology.

The pre-hack event will be held on Monday 24th April from 4pm – 6pm in the Fashion & Textiles studio in Eldon building and is an opportunity for people to network ahead of the hack, form teams and discuss ideas. There will be activities to help inspire designs, as well as questions and answers to clarify any uncertainties.

This will be followed by FashionHack Revolution on Wednesday 26th April from 1pm – 7pm. Also held the Fashion & Textiles studio, this is a chance to unleash your creativity and create a piece of wearable technology within a fun and dynamic environment. Food and drink will be provided throughout the day and help with be at hand from experts in fashion and technological craftsmanship.

Last year’s FashionHack was a resounding success and we’re excited for its return as part of the Fashion Revolution week 2017.
