Staff from the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, at the University of Portsmouth, feature in ‘The Speakeasy’, a T’Articulation 1920s themed evening of spoken word and song. The event is part of Portsmouth Festivities.
Thursday 20th June, 7pm – 10:15pm. Southsea Castle, Clarence Esplanade, Portsmouth, PO5 3PA
An evening of spoken word and 1920s themed music – brought to you by T’Articulation’s own troupe of writer/performers who have crafted their works especially for the occasion. There will be prizes for the best costume, for those who beat off the opposition in the themed table quiz and other hi-jinx to be had. A 20 prize raffle will see the proceeds go to a charity for the visually impaired. Come and join us for a convivial evening of intrigued and fun.
This is an outdoor event, taking place in the cobbled courtyard of Southsea Castle. You are advised to bring a warm outer layer, for when the sun goes down. The cafe bar will be open and staff are designing three cocktails especially for the event. Food will also be available to purchase.
