CT students document Swaziland ‘Tools for Life’ project

In July 2013 a team of student film makers lead by University of Portsmouth, Creative Technologies lecturer Jenn Feray were awarded a SLEEP grant of £3,000. The SLEEP funds allowed them to take part in an unusual and unique project called Tools for Life (T4L). T4L was an initiative set up by UK charity, Positive Women (PW)1, in association with their Swazi Partner organisation, SWAPOL, the project was to send a team of female UK carpenters to Swaziland to teach a group of rural Swazi women basic woodworking skills.
