Students and staff from the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries within Drama and Musical Theatre undergraduate courses visited London to engage theatre audiences with the practice-based research taught to the students at the University of Portsmouth.
London Design Festival, taking place from the 17th to the 25th September 2016, is looking for volunteers to contribute to another successful year. With a variety of positions offered, the Festival may be a great way to add to your CV experience.
On 21st April, Media and Film Studies lecturer, Stephen Harper, delivered a talk to Film Studies staff and students at London South Bank University on the subject of ‘The Cinema of the Bosnian War”.
In the past year Searle Kochberg, from the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, has been working on and collaborating with Liberal Judaism UK, Bucks New University, Coventry University and colleagues in CCI to create Ritual Reconstruction, a Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) research project.
TVFP hosted their annual graduate screening event at The BFI last Thursday night. Despite the bad timing of the tube strikes it was an exceptional success!! The show was well attended by students, staff, TVFP alumni and lots of industry guests, that filled the NFT2 125 seater cinema and The Blue Room private bar.
