SURFACE TENSION is an innovative community arts project aiming to connect creativity across Portsmouth.
Look Up is a high impact, outdoor gallery, produced by ArtReach as part of Journeys Festival International, where artworks are scaled up to large format and exhibited high up on the exteriors of buildings across the city. The Festival is seeking applications from an artist/artists to create 6-8 artworks for the 2017 Look Up exhibition in Portsmouth. This is a paid commission with an inclusive fee of £1,500 offered.
Aspex Gallery, in partnership with Strong Island, Victorious Festival and the University of Portsmouth, are developing an exciting new project for 2017/18. This summer from June to September BBC Learning is putting on a roadshow event at 13 locations across the UK to support the BBC Make It Digital project. It will be an interactive experience aimed at families and young people. The learning elements will be delivered through hands-on activities, displays, partner activities and, where relevant, formal learning content.
