Write Your Novel – Creative Writing Workshops | Bookfest 2020

As part of Portsmouth Bookfest 2020, William Sutton will hold a four-part creative writing course in Eldon Building, Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, University of Portsmouth.

The Write Your Novel workshops will take place in four sessions, on 22nd February, 29th February, 7th March and 14th March, 10:30am-12:15pm in Room EW1.09. There are only 25 places available and students benefit from a concession price of £10 for the whole course; alternatively, the full price is £30.  Book your place.

This series of workshops, run by an internationally published author in a friendly and informal atmosphere, will help you set realistic aims, explode myths and write. You will be encouraged to discuss your ideas and problems, and you will gain a clearer idea of how to write and you will be prompted to do so at your own pace, in the direction that you want, whether that is fiction, autobiography or non-fiction.

Open to committed writers of all ages, this course will cover Ideas, Plot, Characters & Setting, Edits & Selling and will also discuss topics such as planning, writer’s block, procrastination, and publishing options. Tickets available here.

Hello, I am a student at UOP. I think I should qualify for a discount but there was no option on the spydus ticket page.
