CCI Placement Student Publishes Articles with Nominet

The University of Portsmouth, Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries is thrilled to share the success of Eleanor Sanmogan, who has published two articles for Nominet on the UK Domain website.

Eleanor Sanmogan is a BA Media Studies student who recently undertook a placement at Nominet. During her time here, Eleanor wrote two articles which have been published on the UK Domain website.

Both articles are student based content, one is entitled ‘A student’s guide to managing your reputation on social media for maximum employability‘, this article provides a helpful guide on how students can utilise social media to enhance job applications, as well as advising on how poor social media usage can damage job prospects.

The second article entitled ‘How much does your CV lie?‘ questions how and why people lie on their CVs and how this is ultimately a mistake, and could damage your job prospects, or leave you in a role that you are not qualified, or equipped to have.
