Paid Placement Opportunity with Blast Theory

The University of Portsmouth, Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries are pleased to share a paid placement opportunity from Blast Theory.

Thanks to support given to Our Friends Electric, Blast Theory are offering two short term paid internships in Brighton!

During each internship, successful applicants will play a vital role on one of two major Blast Theory productions. This is an opportunity for those embarking on a career in the arts to have first hand experience working with an artist-led organisation and will give an opportunity to develop skills in some of the following areas:

  • Administration
  • Research
  • Creative Development
  • Testing and preparing AV equipment
  • Film and theatre production
  • Post-production and video editing
  • Marketing and publicity
  • Use of Adobe Creative Suite

Blast Theory are searching for interns that reflect the diversity of the communities they serve. The team are particularly interested in applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds.
