Work in TV with The Network 2018

The University of Portsmouth, Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries are happy to share an opportunity to work in television with The Network.

The Network is a free intensive introduction to working in the TV industry, run by the world’s leading TV festival, with 60 places on offer for people across the country.

You can spend four days in Edinburgh between 21st and 24th August 2018, learning practical TV making skills, learning directly from industry experts, and hearing from the biggest names in television today.

You can get advice on your CV, and take part in network training, which you can then put into practice at industry parties and award ceremonies.

You’ll be paired with your own industry mentor, and will gain exclusive access to jobs and opportunities after completing the scheme.

The Network are looking for talented people from all backgrounds who are over the age of 18, there is no need for prior experience or qualifications, however you must be available to work full time from September 2018.

This is not an opportunity for presenters or actors, The Network is a training opportunity for those who want to work behind the camera.
