Illustration Graduate Exhibits in Winchester

University of Portsmouth, CCI graduate Leah Keatley-Phoenix recently exhibited her work at Winchester, and has been asked to present again.

Leah Keatley-Phoenix is a BA Illustration graduate who enjoys experimenting with a range of mediums, including: printmaking, drawing/painting, mixed media, and paper cut.

After recently exhibiting her work at the Winchester Heritage open days, Leah has been invited to the Winchester Discovery Centre, to display her work again in April 2018 (dates to be confirmed).

The exhibition, entitled Winchester’s Historic Journey Through Paper Cut, is a project based on the city of Winchester, exploring the history of famous landmarks, such as the Cathedral, King Alfred the Great, The Buttercross and the Round Table. The exhibited work was created through the art of paper cutting.

Leah found her love of intricate paper cut when experimenting during her second year of university, she now specialises in large scale paper cuttings of the City of Winchester, showing her love and passion for the city, through architecture.

Since Graduating, Leah has exhibited her work in various places, including New Designers in London, Cafe Au Cinema in Portsmouth, and the One Eyed Dog in Southsea.
