CCI Students can Visit the Royal Academy for Free

University of Portsmouth, CCI, Architecture, or Applied Arts (Including Design and Graphic Design) students can get free tickets to visit the Royal Academy!

2018 marks the 250th birthday of the Royal Academy of Arts (RA), and to mark the occasion, the RA will be transformed, bringing together two of its existing buildings for the first time in history.

The project will enable the RA to: create new gallery and debating spaces, expand the exhibition programme, increase the events programme, offer free displays of contemporary art & hidden treasures, open a learning centre, and provide new places to eat and shop.

As part of their commitment to inspiring and nurturing the artists and architects of the future, the Royal Academy of Arts has launched a new free exhibition ticket scheme, allowing visual arts BTEC and A-level students, as well as anyone studying Architecture or Fine and Applied Arts (including Design and Graphic Design) at a Higher, or Further Education Institute, to visit RA exhibitions for free!

If you are eligible for the offer, you can register your details with the Royal Academy of Arts, using the form which is available on their website, once completed you will receive an email as soon as tickets for exhibitions become available.

Tickets can be reserved online, but there are a limited amount of tickets for each show, with a maximum of two tickets per customer, making it vital that you book quickly to avoid disappointment.

Once booked, all you need to do is visit the RA with your student ID, and online transaction e-ticket.

You can stay up to date with the Royal Academy of Arts, and help celebrate their 250th birthday, by following them on Facebook @RoyalAcademy, Twitter @RoyalAcademy, and Instagram @RoyalAcademyArts.
