A third year BSc (Hons) Digital Media student from the University of Portsmouth has been given a 25% stake in a business.
James Leighfield saw a post on Twitter, by Chris Hillary, asking for some help to create a logo for his business venture FitnessMixes, all on a tight budget of £50 but it also had to be done within a 5 day turn around.
James got in contact with Chris and expanded his interest further with giving Chris ideas for how it could be done. Chris was so impressed with James’ enthusiasm he asked him to create the whole website too.
To thank him Chris offered to meet up and buy James a few beers, but to James’ surprise, Chris offered him a quarter of his business. See the FitnessMixes website here.
James is looking to go into graphic and digital design, especially logo design. Check out his website.
