If you have an event planned or are organising an event that could be part of London 2012 Open Weekend you have until 27 June to register. Registration is easy and gives you access to lots of marketing resources. This year the Open Weekend takes place from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 July 2011 with the theme of ‘Showcasing the Best’ and ‘Celebrating the One Year to Go’ to the Games.
London 2012 are inviting organisations and venues from culture, sport, learning and sustainability to hold events that celebrate one year to go to the Games and showcases the best art, dance, music, sports, heritage and film in the local community.

The London 2012 Open Weekend is open to all organisations and venues from culture, sport, learning and sustainability; all we ask is that your event:
- Takes place between 22-24 July 2011
- Is non-commercial and not-for-profit
- Does not have any commercial sponsorship or offer any similar marketing rights – it should not provide a business with any rights to associate with, or be given visibility at, the event).
- Is open to everyone
