Over four years, the project examines C4’s role as a producer, distributor and exhibitor-broadcaster of film. Further details of the project’s aims and activities are available on the site.

Since the channel was launched in 1982, C4 has played a vital role in the making and presenting of film in Britain. Through the website, we invite you to share your ‘FourThoughts’ via the project blog or Twitter.

Interviews with Jeremy Issacs, C4’s original Chief Executive, and David Rose, C4’s first Commissioning Editor for Fiction, are already available on the site.
