The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries shares that the University of Portsmouth is a partner in a new project that aims to further understand the impact of air pollution on children’s lungs in Kenya.

Professor Joan Farrer, Associate Dean (Enterprise & Innovation), based within the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries is delighted to announce that the PONToon (Partnership Opportunities using New Technologies fostering sOcial and ecOnomic inclusioN) project has been approved by the Interreg 5A Channel Programme (Co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund).

On Thursday 6th April 2017 in Eldon building, Enterprise & Innovation held a DERMA stakeholder consultation session.
As part of Fashion Revolution Week (24th – 28th April) at the University of Portsmouth, Innovolvement hosted FashionHack on Monday 24th April and Wednesday 26th April, which encouraged people to re-purpose old garments while incorporating an element of technology.
On Thursday 23rd March at 5pm in the Eldon building Social Learning Space, Innovolvement hosted Team Go, which explored the role of sports and physical exercise in mental health and wellbeing.
Innovolvement hosted their 2nd event last Thursday with the focus being on the ‘Urban Ecosystem’ and the integration of habitats into the city environment.
