What does it mean to serve your country? What are the challenges that servicemen and women face in their lives as soldiers? And what are the next steps in their lives after the military?
On Friday 6th July, military veterans from the University of Portsmouth community will share their thoughts in an unscripted and uncensored performance that aims to challenge preconceived notions of who serves, and why.
Join us for an evening that brings together veterans of the British Armed Forces who have been deployed around the world for an engaging conversation about community, and what it means to serve.
Dr Erika Hughes says “These veterans-turned-performers represent an incredible range of experiences and political viewpoints, and yet are all willing to share something of themselves with the community in which they live. We’re grateful for their openness and willingness”
The event is completely free to attend, with a wine reception to follow, you can book your place on Eventbrite.
