The University of Portsmouth, CCI, BA Film Production (BAFP) Graduate Film, A Place for Everything has won an award at the Winchester Short Film Festival.
This exhibition is a collaboration with the Hampshire Cultural Trust that seeks to initiate a discussion concerning future urban transformations and cultural interfaces and is part of a continuing practice and research exploring the interrelationship between collective memory, narrative, identity and architecture. It will juxtapose the museum collections with speculative architectural drawings and artefacts in order to entice public into the space.
After months of meticulous planning, it has all come down to the final week before members of SPUD Youth unveil the proposed plans to Winchester City Council for the design idea of a new cycle café which is intended to be located on the disused railway bridge, off Garnier Road and below St Catherine’s Hill.
