University CCI lecturer, Dr Mark Eyles has won the Person of the Year award at the annual awards by the Games industry organisation, TIGA.

The TIGA Games Industry Awards are back for their fifth year and applications are now open. The awards recognise excellence in games development, business and education as well as celebrate the achievements of both small and large games development studios.
The University of Portsmouth has won Best Educational Institution Award from the leading games industry body.
Games development courses at Portsmouth were shortlisted for two awards by The Independent Games Developer Association (TIGA) awards which recognise and honour advances made across the industry.
