MA Photography student Krasimira Butseva recently appears on Bulgarian National Television discussing her work, exhibitions and awards. She was invited to their studio in Sofia.
On Monday 5th June 2017, Toby Meredith, Media Production Centre Manager within the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, attended a BAFTA ran workshop in Sustainability in Film and Television Education. The workshop was attended by several members of higher education institutions, the NUS and Learning on Screen.
Dr Rebecca Janicker, Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in the School of Media and Performing Arts at the University of Portsmouth, has recently edited a collection of essays, Reading ‘American Horror Story’: Essays on the Television Franchise, which has just been published by McFarland.
In association with this year’s Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries Graduate Show, student’s from the School of Media and Performing Arts will be screening several short films created by themselves as part of their final year short films project.
TVFP hosted their annual graduate screening event at The BFI last Thursday night. Despite the bad timing of the tube strikes it was an exceptional success!! The show was well attended by students, staff, TVFP alumni and lots of industry guests, that filled the NFT2 125 seater cinema and The Blue Room private bar.
