The University of Portsmouth is delighted to partner with Journeys Festival International (JFI) in Portsmouth from 19-29 October 2018. One of the projects happening during the 10 day festival is ‘Future Aleppo’ and is hosted by the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries here in Eldon Building.

University of Portsmouth, Creative and Cultural Industries staff and students are being offered the opportunity to take part in Journeys Festival International 2018, by becoming a Look Up artist for Leicester.
Following on from the successful Culture and Mobility Seminar, hosted at the University of Portsmouth by the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, Journeys Festival International in collaboration with New Theatre Royal and the Aakash Odedra Company, hosted a performance of #JeSuis (in progress).
As part of our Refugee Week (19th- 25th June 2017) event on Tuesday 20th June at the University of Portsmouth we would like to invite University staff and students to create new representations of these law, at a more intimate and accessible level.
Look Up is a high impact, outdoor gallery, produced by ArtReach as part of Journeys Festival International, where artworks are scaled up to large format and exhibited high up on the exteriors of buildings across the city. The Festival is seeking applications from an artist/artists to create 6-8 artworks for the 2017 Look Up exhibition in Portsmouth. This is a paid commission with an inclusive fee of £1,500 offered.
