The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries at the University of Portsmouth, a creative partner with Portsmouth Festivities, shares news that the festival has received funding from Santander to fund a film project with Young Carers.
Being Human returns in 2017 for its 4th year this November with the theme ‘Lost and Found’. The festival will run 17-25th November 2017 – applicants are invited to respond creatively and in ways that probe the rich intellectual possibilities of the theme.
A team led by Dr Fabiano Lemes (Co-Is Dr Silvio Caputo and Dr Heather Rumble) has been successful in securing funding (£42000) under the British Council Newton Fund Researcher Links Workshop Grants, in partnership with the Universidade de Goiânia, Brazil.
The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries is delighted to announce that Dr Justin Smith, from the School of Media and Performing Arts has been successful in his bid to the Arts and Humanities Research Council for a project that will chart the history of British music video.
