A student from the CCI Faculty at the University of Portsmouth was selected as the winner of the New Designers People’s Vote Screening Prize on Saturday 4 July, London.
The first Enterprise Showcase, organised by the Student and Graduate Enterprise Team, recognised the entrepreneurial achievements of students, graduates, and staff at the University of Portsmouth.
Dr Joan Farrer (RCA), newly appointed Associate Dean of Enterprise and Innovation, Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries has attended important networking events to help enhance CCI.
In the first of a series of performances coordinated by the University of Portsmouth’s Director of Music Colin Jagger, in partnership with the Portsmouth Cultural Trust, the Southbank Gamelan Players and Ni Madé Pujawati gave an interactive performance at the Portsmouth Guildhall.
Creative and Cultural Industry Lecturer in Musical Theatre, Dr. Laura MacDonald, will be travelling to Korea, looking to establish links between Theatre scholars and industry experts for future collaborations.
The creative crew project, now in its fifth year, recruits first, second and third year students from across CCI and offers them the opportunity to teach a creative brief based on their degree skills, to first year GCSE pupils in local secondary schools.
