The Royal Television Society (RTS), Britain’s leading forum for television and related media, has opened entries for the RTS Student Television Awards 2018.
The Royal Television Society has launched its Undergraduate Bursary Schemes for 2017,. The RTS is offering 20 bursaries to students studying accredited TV Production and Broadcast Journalism degree courses and a further five technology bursaries for students studying Computing and Engineering, and investing over £75,000 to support UK students from lower income backgrounds.
The University of Portsmouth has won the prestigious ‘Bill Vinten GTC University Award’, celebrating excellence in the teaching of cinematography & camera craft to undergraduate students.
On Wednesday 20th January the University of Portsmouth‘s White Swan Building celebrated its opening-night with a collection of drama and musical performances, singing and filming demonstrations from both students and staff introducing the new and improved facilities.
TVFP hosted their annual graduate screening event at The BFI last Thursday night. Despite the bad timing of the tube strikes it was an exceptional success!! The show was well attended by students, staff, TVFP alumni and lots of industry guests, that filled the NFT2 125 seater cinema and The Blue Room private bar.
The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries are delighted to invite you to join their annual celebration of the talents of our final year students at the Graduate Show 2015, on Friday 29th May, 5-9pm, at the University of Portsmouth, Eldon Building, Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth, PO1 2DJ. The show continues Monday 1st June-Friday 5th June, 10am – 4pm.
