Aspex is seeking emerging craft artists, designers and makers working in all media for its open submission exhibition Craft Emergency. This is an international opportunity seeking applications from anyone who considers themselves to be an emerging craft artist.
Aspex is proud to present Double Dutch, the recent work of the artist Ben Cove. It is with a mixture of sadness and celebration that Aspex honour the promised exhibition that was programmed before Ben’s unexpected and untimely death from a short illness.
Aspex, Portsmouth’s contemporary art gallery, is delighted to announce it has been awarded £158,504 from Arts Council England’s National Lottery-funded capital programme, to finance the further development of its stunning historic building at Gunwharf Quays, and extend its reach to a wider audience.

Oliver will talk about Delta Arts’ forthcoming project Intermodal Flow; an international artists’ research and production programme on container shipping, which proposes to place three artists on a container ship passage from Hong Kong to Southampton in 2015.
