A scheme that accredits the best university games courses, created by lecturer Dr Mark Eyles of the University of Portsmouth Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, has won the Outstanding Product/Service category at the 2017 Global Business Excellence Awards.

This year the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries Graduate Show 2017 took place on June 2nd, and saw Eldon host exhibitions and performances of work from students across courses.
Chloe Hunt, third year Graphic Design student from the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries at the University of Portsmouth, has won the Faculty’s Graduate Show Design Competition.
This year, the University of Portsmouth’s Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries is exhibiting at Graduate Fashion Week, the world’s largest showcase of BA fashion talent. University of Portsmouth students get free tickets to the event, which runs from Sunday 4th June – Weds 7th June in The Truman Brewery, Shoreditch, London.
Being Human returns in 2017 for its 4th year this November with the theme ‘Lost and Found’. The festival will run 17-25th November 2017 – applicants are invited to respond creatively and in ways that probe the rich intellectual possibilities of the theme.
The 2017 Public Engagement and Performance Conference will take place on the 17th & 18th March at The Conference Centres, YHA, York.
