CCI Students to feature in Platform Graduate Award Exhibition

The University of Portsmouth, Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries is thrilled to share the success of two students, who have been selected to be a part of the Platform Graduate Award Exhibition.

Aspex, Portsmouth’s leading contemporary art gallery, has selected two University of Portsmouth students to be a part of the Platform Graduate Award Exhibition, an annual exhibition that showcases creative talent from graduating students across the South of England.

This year, after visiting the CCI Graduate Show, the Aspex team have selected BA Illustration student Carl Tai Thompson, and BA Graphic Design student, Simon Beasley to be a part of the Platform Graduate Award exhibition.

The Platform Graduate Award exhibition proudly supports emerging artistic talent, from six higher education partners across the South Coast, and helps to develop ways for artists to further their practice after graduation.

The exhibition will showcase work from 12 students from universities across the South of England, and one student will be put forward for the regional award, where they will receive a £2,500 bursary, and professional development support for a year.
