Award Success for Graphic Design Students

The University of Portsmouth, Faculty of Creative and Cultural industries are pleased to share the success of BA (Hons) Graphic Design students. 

As part of the third year Graphic Design Professional Practice: Design Briefs and Competitions unit, selected students are offered the opportunity to enter the highly rigorous International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) international students assessment scheme.

This scheme awards successful entrants membership of this select professional society and the coveted affix MISTD.

Senior lecturer, Mike Harkins, said

Achieving award status is incredibly difficult, however over the past decade, the University of Portsmouth have had numerous successes at these awards, this year achieving an outstanding fourteen awards!

This is an incredible achievement for Portsmouth, and affirms the University’s position nationally, and globally as a high achieving Graphic Design course.
