Following on from previous success, Nest are, once again, able to offer students funding, to help take their ideas, and turn them into a reality.
There are two types of funds available, the Explore Fund, and the Develop Fund , offering an opportunity to help test an idea, do some market research, or develop an existing startup.
The Explore Fund will provide up to £750 for you to test/explore an idea on a small scale, take the first steps, Undertake market research, and discover if the idea is viable.
The Develop Fund will provide up to £3000 for you to develop an idea further, discover if the idea is viable on a larger scale, launch your idea, or upscale and grow your current idea/startup.
The application deadline for the Nest grants is the 13th of December, and you can find out more about the funds, and fill in an application form on their website.
The University of Portsmouth in association with Just Develop it, are also offering the chance to apply for £35,000 of equity free seed funding to help support startup ideas and businesses!
There are two funding categories, ideas and start up. the Idea fund offers up to £10,000 equity free seed funding for those at the idea stage, looking to develop and launch their idea into a business. The Startup fund offers up to £25,000 equity free funding for those who have started to generate revenue, this category is to encourage and expand new businesses.
