See Bin Sea Change – Free Event

Eldon Building – 1st December 2017 – 5pm – 8:30pm

The University of Portsmouth Environment Network (UPEN) invites you to the See Bin, Sea Change event on the 1st of December 2017 in the Eldon Building. The event aims to raise awareness and provide answers to questions about the ongoing global issue of marine plastic pollution, as well celebrating the introduction of the UK’s first Sea Bin in Portsmouth Harbour.

See Bin, Sea Change, has confirmed speakers from the University of Portsmouth, the National Oceanographic Centre in Southampton, and Plymouth University providing talks to the public, followed by a Q&A session. The University Catering team will be attending the event to announce some exciting plastic related pledges!

There will also be a Plastic sea creatures display to launch the event in the Eldon Courtyard, performed by volunteer students and staff from the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries.

There will even be some festive refreshments on arrival. We hope to see you there! If you would like to attend the event then please register here, or get in touch via environment@port.ac.uk if you have any questions.
