Festive Charity Gig, to Help the Homeless

The University of Portsmouth, Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries are pleased to announce a charity gig to raise money to support the homeless over Christmas.

The Square Tower are hosting a charity gig on the 17th of December, at 5 pm, to raise money to support the homeless over the festive period!

Retired CCI members, Denis Reeve-Baker, from Creative Technologies, and Dave Allen, from Media and Performing Arts, and Dave Jordan from Registry, will be in attendance, performing in their band, Scarlet Town.

They will be joined by local bands:

Tickets are just £5 and are available at Street Level, St Simons Church, on the door, and at the Southsea Skiffle Orchestra Guildhall performance, November 21st.

Merchandise from the performers will be available, and there will be a raffle, in which two tickets for the production of West Side Story for next March will be up for grabs!

There are many great raffle prizes from tickets for Icons of Pop at the Guildhall, West Side Story production at the University, a vinyl copy of Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, books, the original Blade Runner film, CDs, a meal at The Study and brewery sets!

All money raised will go to charity, so come along, enjoy a night of great music, and help support the homeless this Christmas.
