Become a Mentor with The Girls Network

University of Portsmouth CCI Staff and Alumni are being offered the incredible opportunity to become a mentor, with The Girls Network

The Girls Network is a non profit organisation, working to inspire, and empower girls from the least advantaged communities, by connecting them with a mentor, and a network of professional female role models.

The Girls Network is already filled with dedicated women, giving their time and support, helping to enable the next generation of young women, across the South West of England, to thrive.

After three years, The Girls Network is now in demand from schools, and in order to reach this growing demand, The Girls Network are looking for new female mentors, to help inspire, empower, and support local young women.

If you have been in work for over three years, and are willing to give a minimum of just one hour a month to support local young women, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Becoming a mentor with The Girls Network is an incredible opportunity for you to give your time and support, something that may seem small to you, but could prove invaluable to a young woman.

To find out more about The Girls Network, you can visit their website, and follow them on Facebook @TheGirlsNetwork, Twitter @TheGirlsNet, and Instagram @TheGirlsNetwork.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, you can fill out this application form.

Would be happy to mentor someone. I work full time as a research fellow at Southampton university and have just completed a PhD in psychology at Southampton.
