For Love and Money: A Conference and Networking Event

University of Portsmouth CCI alumna, and Sticks Gallery founder, Beth Davis-Hofbauer, invites you to attend For Love and Money, a brand new conference and networking event, centered around funding the arts, in twenty first century Britain.

Sticks Gallery is a part of Live Art Local CIC, an artist-led arts non profit organisation that aims to make the arts more accessible, increase engagement and participation in the arts, as well as supporting emerging artists.

Sticks Gallery, which is governed by a board of five artists, curators, creatives and educationalists, have created a conference and networking event, entitled, For Love and Money: Funding the Arts in Twenty First Century Britain. The event is aimed at “enabling artists and organisations to fund their projects and build stronger and more resilient networks”.

For Love and Money will take place on the 25th of January 2018, at Ashcroft Art Centre in Fareham, which is easily accessible by train, bus, and car, with plenty of hotels and B&Bs close by.

The one day only event runs from 10 am until 7 pm, and will be split into four sessions, with lunch being provided by Live Art Local CIC! The day will include a range of exciting opportunities, including a series of breakout sessions, which will provide an opportunity to gain an in depth understanding, as well as practical advice that can be tailored to your projects.

A closing talk will take place in the theatre, before moving into the bar, where delegates will receive a complimentary glass of wine (or soft drink) and have a chance to network with their peers.

Tickets are on sale now and start from just £5.90, with a limited number of bursaries available for those who would otherwise be unable to attend, if you would like to enquire about the available bursary, please email ed@sticksgallery.co.uk for further information.
