This session was a follow-up of the Technical & Steering meeting that took place on Wednesday 5th April.
The day kicked off with a tour of the University of Portsmouth Centre for Simulation in Healthcare which was led by Lucy Dobson, Lead Technician Health Sciences Simulation. This was followed by a short presentation on building and evidencing impact by Dee Summers, Research Impact Officer at the University of Portsmouth.
The stakeholder consultation session commenced immediately after and was chaired by Paul Thompson, which discussed the unmet needs and requirements for new odour adsorbent and diagnostic wound dressings, and the application of design thinking to DERMA product development.
There was then enough time left for a visit to the New Theatre Royal and an opportunity to take part in a 360/3D fashion film created by the UoP Fashion and Textiles department.
On behalf of the Enterprise & Innovation team, I would like to say a special thank you to both CCI colleagues and to the Health Sciences Simulation colleagues for conducting a tour of the facilities.
