Creative Volunteers Project Students receive Certificates

On 25th January, certificates were presented to the sixty University of Portsmouth students who volunteered this year for Melanie FitzGerald’s Creative Volunteers project.

The students, from all the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, ran creative briefs in South Downs College, three local secondary schools, Riverside Special School and Meon Infants.  Several students went into three schools to increase experience to support forthcoming teacher training applications and a number of participating students used these volunteer hours for their PROFEX unit.  The teachers we worked with were delighted with the skills and creative ideas shared by our students with their pupils and are keen to work with us next year.
