Portsmouth Fashion and Textile Design Graduates showcase their work during London Fashion Week

Four 2016 graduates from University of Portsmouth BA (Hons) Fashion and Textile Design course showcased their collections to press and Industry as part of the RAW EDGE LONDON fashion event at the height of London Fashion Week at Wella World Studios at Trafalgar Square London.

Alexandra Marin, Dayle Rushton, Isabelle Mariess and Kyle Moody wowed audiences with their wonderful creations, firmly establishing Portsmouth as a hotbed for emerging talent for fashion.

RAW EDGE LONDON co-founder, and UoP fashion and textiles course leader Tom Clulee said “the thinking behind RAW EDGE is to give emerging designers an opportunity to showcase their work to the Industry when all eyes are on London.  The event is a really important stepping stone for these young designers to get the exposure they need and deserve and also a fantastic opportunity to network with professionals from across the Industry and press and media.  We are very proud that at an internationally supported bi-annual event such as this, half the designers showcased came from Portsmouth.”
