Fashion and Textile Design students short-listed in Diversity NOW competition

A group of Level 5 BA (Hons) Fashion and Textile Design students have been short-listed in the garment design section of the Diversity NOW competition.

The students who have been short-listed are Anna Glibbery, Fiona Grafen, Georgina Jefferies and Ntombiyenkosi Sithole.

Susan Noble, Senior Lecturer of Fashion & Textile Design, commented on the competition ‘Diversity NOW, run by All Walks Beyond The Catwalk,  is a very relevant and exciting competition. It challenges the students to consider who they are actually designing for and how their industry represents the wonderful diversity of humankind. In the exciting times we live in, it is incredibly relevant and important for the future of design.’

On behalf on the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, we would like to congratulate the students on their success so far and wish them all the luck further into the competition.
