Illustration Graduate’s work featured on Creative Review

Oliver Tubb, who graduated from BA (Hons) Illustration this summer, had his work showcased by Creative Review Talent Spotting.

The collaboration between Creative Review and Creative Translation (plus Beframeus /JCDecaux) talent spotted 20 graduate artworks from recent graduate shows and showcases. The selected works were featured on digital screens all over the UK, on loop between news and adverts, at locations including major stations in London (Victoria, Charing Cross, Waterloo) and Glasgow, Brighton, and Gatwick, to name just a few.

Oliver believes his work was spotted at this year’s New Designers. Creative Review then selected a couple of pieces from his website and Oliver worked to convert them for the digital screens. There were attempts to animate the illustrations but in the end it was decided to keep them as still images.

Earlier this year Oliver won the Strong Island Creative Graduates to Watch award for Illustration and has since secured a position at Aspex Gallery as an Exhibition Intern, due in part to his excellent participation in the New Educators programme.
