2012 Open Weekend – National

The London Open Weekend is the annual nationwide celebration marking the countdown to the start of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This year the Open Weekend takes place from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 July 2011 and marks the one year to go until the start of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The Open Weekend is a great way to reach new audiences, inspire young people and enable local communities to become part of the official annual countdown celebrations for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

London 2012 are inviting organisations and venues from culture, sport, learning and sustainability to hold events that celebrate one year to go to the Games and showcases the best art, dance, music, sports, heritage and film in the local community.
